Configurable Table & Positioning Options

Integrated Stationary Table

The standard Select HF uses a 53 × 24 in. (135 × 61 cm) stationary tabletop with an integrated tubestand. Keeping the table and tube support within the same system provides a dedicated platform for positioning the patient, X-ray tube, and image receptor during routine studies.

An angulation dial, operator handgrips, tubestand handles, and an animal restraining device assist with positioning and system adjustment during examinations.

Optional Float-Top Tables

Practices that want more positioning flexibility can replace the standard tabletop with a larger two-way or four-way float-top configuration.

The two-way table measures 58 × 32 in. (147 × 81 cm), while the four-way table measures 67 × 32 in. (170 × 81 cm). These options provide a larger working surface and additional tabletop movement for practices that want more flexibility when positioning patients for radiography.

Technique & Workflow Options

The Select HF can also be configured with anatomical programmed technique selection. Instead of relying entirely on manual technique setup for every examination, this option allows the practice to use anatomy-based exposure selections as part of its routine workflow.

Other available options include a 500 mA generator upgrade, tabletop fluid trough, and hands-free collimator light system.

Digital Imaging Compatibility

The Select HF is compatible with most digital imaging systems, giving practices flexibility when selecting a digital radiography solution for the room.

Because the X-ray system is not limited to one proprietary digital imaging platform, practices can pair the Select HF with a compatible imaging system that fits their existing workflow or equipment plans.

Adjustable Exposure Technique

The Select HF gives the operator control over the exposure settings used for each examination. kVp can be adjusted from 40 to 125 in 1 kV increments, allowing relatively small technique changes when adapting the exposure to the patient and anatomy being imaged.

Digital displays show the selected kVp, mA, and mAs values so the operator can confirm the technique before making the exposure.

Practices that prefer a more preset-driven workflow can add anatomical programmed technique selection as an option.

Collimation & Exposure Controls

The manual collimator includes an LED light field that helps the operator see the selected X-ray field during positioning before the exposure is made. The light can remain on for 30, 45, or 60 seconds depending on the preferred positioning workflow.

The system also includes an audible exposure signal, built-in tube protection, self-diagnostics, and an automatic generator shut-off circuit to support day-to-day operation.

The 30 kW high-frequency generator provides the exposure range needed to adjust technique across different routine veterinary examinations and patient sizes.

A tilt-out control panel and digital technique readouts keep the selected exposure settings visible to the operator, while 1 kV adjustment increments allow more precise changes than broad preset steps alone.

Dual-Focal-Spot X-Ray Tube

The Select HF uses an X-ray tube with 1.0 and 2.0 mm focal spots, giving the system two focal-spot selections for different radiographic technique requirements.

The tube is rated at 140,000 heat units and is paired with the system’s 30 kW generator as part of the complete radiographic configuration.
