The Radmedix Acuity UDR combines the X-ray tube and digital detector on a compact motorized U-arm that automatically moves to saved exam positions. Instead of manually adjusting multiple components between views, the technologist can select a stored position and let the system move to the programmed height, orientation, and imaging distance.

8-Foot Ceiling Compatibility

The Radmedix Acuity UDR uses a telescoping column and compact floor-mounted design to provide full U-arm functionality in rooms with ceilings as low as 8 ft. (2.44 m). This can make the system practical when available X-ray room space or ceiling height limits equipment choices.

40 to 72-Inch Adjustable Imaging Distance

The distance between the X-ray source and detector adjusts from 40 to 72 in. (101.6 to 182.9 cm), giving the system flexibility for different patient positions and exam setups.

The U-arm rotates from -30° to 120°, while the X-ray tube rotates ±90° and the detector ±45°. These movements support upright, table-based, angled, and cross-table positioning without separate tube and detector stands.

10-Inch Touchscreen & Exam Presets

The 10-inch (25.4 cm) touchscreen provides centralized control over system positioning. Frequently used exam positions can be programmed and saved so the system recalls the required height and distance between the X-ray source and detector.

Custom exam view lists can also be created, reducing repeated setup when moving through commonly performed examinations.

Tube-Side & Detector-Side Positioning Controls

Controls on both sides of the U-arm allow the technologist to make positioning adjustments while working near the patient. The tube and detector sides can also be moved independently when an exam requires more precise alignment.

Wireless Positioning Remote

The included wireless handheld remote allows saved positions to be recalled without returning to the main touchscreen. This gives the technologist another way to control system movement while positioning the patient.

Anti-Collision Sensors & Emergency Stop

Intelligent anti-collision sensors help detect potential obstructions during motorized movement. An integrated emergency stop provides an immediate way to stop system motion when needed.

The Radmedix Acuity UDR also supports remote diagnostics for system troubleshooting and service support.

AccuVue DR Workflow, Detector & Positioning Technology

AccuVue Acquisition & PACS Connectivity

Radmedix AccuVue software brings exam selection, generator integration, digital image acquisition, processing, and review into one interface.

Anatomy-based settings and customizable exam lists help reduce separate setup steps before image acquisition. AccuVue also provides image-processing and measurement tools for reviewing acquired studies.

AccuVue supports DICOM communication so images and exam information can be exchanged with compatible PACS and RIS environments as part of the facility’s existing digital imaging workflow.

Integrated Acuity DR Detector

The Radmedix Acuity UDR uses an integrated Acuity flat-panel DR detector for direct digital image acquisition. The detector works with AccuVue so image capture and display remain part of the same exam workflow.

MXR also carries Radmedix G4 Acuity DR flat-panel detectors for compatible Radmedix digital radiography applications.

Dual-Laser Field Alignment

The rotating LED collimator, which shapes the X-ray field before exposure, includes dual lasers to help the technologist align the imaging area with the detector and patient.

The collimator rotates ±90° to accommodate changes in exam orientation.

Optional Tables, Weight-Bearing & Stitching

Optional accessories expand the Acuity UDR beyond standard upright radiography for facilities that need table-based, weight-bearing, or long-length imaging.

Rolling Patient Imaging Table

The optional patient imaging table supports supine, angled, and cross-table examinations while allowing the U-arm to remain aligned with the required anatomy.

The table has a 32 × 86 in. (81.3 × 218.4 cm) tabletop, supports up to 500 lb. (226.8 kg), and includes locking wheels for positioning and stability.

Weight-Bearing Lower-Extremity Stand

The optional weight-bearing stand supports standing foot, ankle, and other lower-extremity examinations. After the U-arm moves to the selected position, the stand can be placed over the detector side of the system for the exam.

The stand includes a clear polycarbonate platform, locking wheels, a 500 lb. (226.8 kg) patient capacity, and a 26 × 30 in. (66.0 × 76.2 cm) platform.

Automatic Exposure Control

Optional Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) helps standardize X-ray exposures by automatically controlling when the exposure ends, reducing the amount of manual exposure adjustment required between exams.

Automatic Full-Spine & Long-Leg Stitching

Optional automatic stitching allows the Acuity UDR to perform long-length full-spine and long-leg examinations.

The system automatically moves through the required positions while accounting for image overlap and tube angle. AccuVue then combines the acquired images into one continuous study.

Two- or three-image stitching can be completed in under one minute, reducing the manual positioning normally required for multi-image long-length exams.
