MyVet

The MyVet Citation is a portable equine imaging workstation for ambulatory veterinarians and equine practices. It combines a 10 × 12 wireless DR detector, tablet-based equine imaging software, and rugged carrying case, with optional intraoral and ultrasound tools for expanded diagnostic imaging.

MyVet Citation Highlights & Benefits

The MyVet Citation brings digital radiography acquisition, image review, and optional dental and ultrasound imaging tools into a portable package built specifically for equine practice.

Some Citation components may display Rayence branding. MyVet Imaging operated within Rayence’s veterinary imaging organization in North America, and the Citation combines Rayence imaging technology with MyVet’s equine-focused software and system configuration.

The system keeps the primary imaging components together for transport between locations, while equine-specific software supports image acquisition, processing, and review from the included tablet workstation.

Key Benefits

    • 10 × 12 in wireless DR detector for equine radiography
    • Tablet PC with MyVet Imaging Equine software
    • Rugged carrying case with detachable tablet flap
    • Equine-specific DR image processing
    • Image preview in less than 2 seconds
    • Acquisition cycle of less than 5 seconds
    • Optional equine intraoral CMOS sensor
    • Optional linear ultrasound transducer

Citation can be configured around the imaging needs of the practice, allowing veterinarians to use portable DR as the core platform and add dental or ultrasound capabilities when required.

What Is Included with the MyVet Citation?

Citation is a portable imaging workstation package rather than a single piece of X-ray hardware. Its core configuration combines the detector, tablet workstation, imaging software, detector protection, batteries, and carrying system needed for portable digital image acquisition and review.

10 × 12 Wireless DR Detector

The Citation uses a compact 10 × 12 in wireless flat-panel detector for equine digital radiography.

The detector features a 127 μm pixel pitch, wireless image transfer, and a protective case for transport and field use. Its compact format supports positioning around equine anatomy while keeping the overall imaging package portable.

Tablet Workstation & Equine Imaging Software

A 12.3 in (31.2 cm) multi-touch tablet provides the workstation for image acquisition, processing, and review.

MyVet Imaging Equine software provides image processing developed for equine radiography, including contrast enhancement and exam-specific image optimization.

Optional Equine Intraoral Imaging

Citation can be expanded with a 4 × 6 in (102 × 152 mm) equine intraoral CMOS sensor for dental imaging.

The sensor uses a 70 μm pixel pitch and includes a positioning handle, protective sensor cover, and USB connection for integration with the Citation workstation.

Optional Equine Ultrasound

An optional 3 to 12 MHz linear ultrasound transducer expands Citation into soft-tissue imaging.

The ultrasound configuration uses dedicated image acquisition and processing software through the same tablet-based workstation used for the Citation imaging workflow.

MyVet Citation Equine Imaging Applications

Citation is designed for equine veterinarians who need diagnostic imaging capability that can travel between horses and imaging locations.

Equine Field Radiography

The wireless DR configuration supports digital radiography for evaluating equine bone and musculoskeletal abnormalities in environments such as:

    • Ambulatory equine practices
    • Equine veterinary facilities
    • Farms and barns
    • Field imaging locations
    • Equine Dental Imaging

When configured with the optional intraoral sensor, Citation supports dental imaging where visualization of individual teeth and tooth roots is required.

The intraoral configuration can also support dental evaluation following procedures such as floating.

Equine Soft-Tissue Ultrasound

When equipped with the optional linear ultrasound transducer, Citation supports soft-tissue imaging through the same portable workstation.

This gives practices the option to add ultrasound capability without requiring a separate image-review computer.

How Does the MyVet Citation Support Field Imaging Workflow?

Citation is designed to keep the primary digital imaging tools organized as the veterinarian moves between locations.

The rugged carrying case houses the DR detector and tablet workstation for transport to the imaging location. Wireless detector communication supports image transfer to the tablet, with previews available in less than 2 seconds and an acquisition cycle of less than 5 seconds.

A wireless alignment sensor helps support positioning and reduce repeat images during radiography.

When the optional dental or ultrasound components are added, the same tablet workstation can support those additional imaging functions, keeping image acquisition and review within one portable setup.
