Compared with the Oakworks General 3-Section, the 2 Section uses a simpler tabletop architecture while retaining the powered movements needed for abdominal, superficial-structure, musculoskeletal, vascular, and biopsy ultrasound workflows.

Configuration should be based on tabletop width, preferred transfer height, patient population, exam mix, room layout, and whether options such as side rails, stirrups, foot controls, battery backup, or powered base locking are required. Selected options and accessories affect final table configuration and pricing.

Support for Older Oakworks General with Fowler Tables

Earlier Oakworks general ultrasound tables were sold under the General with Fowler name. Previous-generation models included the 69222-T with a 27 in. (69 cm) tabletop and the 61988-T with a 30 in. (76 cm) tabletop.

The current Oakworks General 2 Section Ultrasound Table occupies a similar role in the Oakworks sonography lineup, but it should not be treated as an identical replacement. Current height ranges, tabletop configurations, tilt capabilities, options, and other specifications differ from earlier General with Fowler tables.
