Fujifilm D-EVO Suite FSx X-Ray

Category:
X-Ray & U-Arm Systems
Brand:
Fujifilm

The Fujifilm D-EVO Suite FSx is a floor-mounted digital X-ray room for facilities that need flexible table and upright imaging without a ceiling-mounted tube crane. Its patient-side touchscreen, elevating 800 lb table, FDX Console integration, and configurable detector options support efficient general radiography workflows.

Fujifilm D-EVO Suite FSx Highlights & Benefits

The Fujifilm D-EVO Suite FSx combines a floor-mounted tube column, elevating table, wall stand, generator, FDX Console, and compatible Fujifilm digital radiography (DR) detectors for table, upright, cross-table, and off-center imaging.

Key System Features

  • Floor-mounted tube positioning: A telescoping tube arm, rotating tube head, and rotating column support cross-table and off-center exams.
  • 10.4-inch patient-side touchscreen: Technologists can access tube position, generator settings, X-ray field size, automatic exposure control settings, locks, and system status while remaining near the patient.
  • 800 lb motorized table: The four-way floating tabletop lowers to approximately 22.2 in (56.4 cm) to support patient access and transfers.
  • Optional vertical auto-tracking: Motorized tube height tracking maintains alignment with the table or wall stand detector to reduce manual positioning.
  • SpeedLink integration: The FDX Console and generator can coordinate preferred X-ray settings, field size, and filtration based on the selected exam.
  • Scalable configurations: Facilities can configure a complete radiographic room or select individual table, wall stand, and tube stand components.

FSx Room, Power & Component Options

FSx Floor-Stand Tube Design & Room Planning

The independent floor rail can simplify room planning where ceiling conditions or construction requirements make an overhead tube system less practical.

The standard floor rail is 10 ft (120 in / 304.8 cm), with a 12 ft (144 in / 365.8 cm) rail option for additional positioning range.

Facilities that prefer an overhead tube configuration can compare the Fujifilm D-EVO Suite OTCx.

Complete FSx Room & Component Configurations

A complete Fujifilm D-EVO Suite FSx can include the generator, floor-mounted tube stand, radiographic table, and wall stand. Fujifilm also supports wall stand, table, or tube stand configurations when a complete room setup is not required.

This allows the FSx configuration to be matched to room, workflow, and infrastructure requirements.

FSx Generator, Collimation & Control Options

The FSx supports single- and three-phase generator configurations, automatic or manual collimation, and an optional touchscreen generator console. A 55 kW energy storage generator provides an option for locations where three-phase electrical service is unavailable.

FSx Clinical Environments & Applications

FSx General Radiography Environments

Fujifilm specifically identifies the D-EVO Suite FSx for:

    • Diagnostic imaging centers
    • Orthopedic facilities
    • Urgent care clinics
    • Hospital radiology departments

Other dedicated general radiography rooms may also be suitable when room, power, imaging, and workflow requirements align.

FSx Table, Upright, Cross-Table & Angled Imaging

The FSx table, wall stand, and movable tube column support:

    • Routine table-based general radiography
    • Upright wall-stand radiography
    • Cross-table examinations
    • Off-center and angled examinations
    • Exams requiring easier access to a low-elevation radiographic table

FSx Positioning & Patient Access

10.4-Inch Tube Head Touchscreen & Positioning Controls

The 10.4 in (26.4 cm) tube head touchscreen rotates 90 degrees for table and upright exams and displays real-time source-to-image distance (SID) and tube angulation. Technologists can also access generator settings, X-ray field size and filtration, automatic exposure control (AEC), directional locks, and system status.

A one-hand release lets the technologist reposition the tube head and column vertically, longitudinally, and transversely.

Motorized Floating Table, Patient Access & Transfers

The motorized table combines a four-way floating top, 800 lb (363 kg) capacity, and approximately 22.2 in (56.4 cm) minimum height to support positioning, patient access, and transfers.

Toe switches control tabletop movement and table height, while an edge-mounted handle provides another positioning control. The smooth, edge-free tabletop also supports easier patient transfer.

FSx Wall Stand Positioning & Patient Support

The standard space-saving wall stand provides a broad vertical positioning range, overhead and side patient hand grips, and a swiveling height-control handle for upright exams. Right- or left-opening non-tilting and tilting wall stand configurations are also available depending on the system configuration.

Vertical Auto-Tracking for Table & Wall Stand Alignment

Optional vertical auto-tracking synchronizes tube height with the detector at the table or wall stand, reducing repetitive positioning while maintaining the selected SID.

FSx FDX Console & Detector Workflow

Fujifilm FDX Console Image Acquisition & Dynamic Visualization

The Fujifilm FDX Console manages image acquisition and processing through a customizable touchscreen with immediate image previews, image adjustment tools, and network connectivity. Applicable exams can be completed in as few as two or three mouse clicks.

FDX Console capabilities also include:

    • Exposure and deviation index monitoring
    • Retake analysis
    • Radiation dose reporting compatibility
    • Optional secondary 2-megapixel display

Dynamic Visualization automatically recognizes the anatomy and image characteristics being captured and adjusts image processing to improve contrast visibility and diagnostic detail.

SpeedLink Exposure Settings & Collimation Automation

SpeedLink connects the FDX Console and generator so exposure settings, X-ray field size, and filtration can follow the selected exam while exposure data returns to the console. Automatic field-size adjustment requires automatic collimation and is not available with manual tube or collimator configurations.

Fujifilm FDR Detector Compatibility & Tray Options

The D-EVO Suite FSx integrates with Fujifilm FDR D-EVO III, FDR D-EVO II, and FDR ES wireless detectors. Standard trays support sizes up to 17 x 17 in (432 x 432 mm), while an optional rotating tray supports 14 x 17 in (356 x 432 mm) detectors. Smaller detectors can be used for free positioning of smaller anatomy.

MXR offers compatible Fujifilm detector options, including the Fujifilm D-EVO III G35 Panels and Fujifilm FDR ES DR Detector.

Compatible Fujifilm FDR detectors can also be shared with other compatible Fujifilm X-ray rooms and portable systems, providing additional flexibility when managing detector inventory.

Compatible FDR detectors use Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) technology to help reduce light scatter and blur and preserve image sharpness.
