Complete Room Integration & Modular Configurations

Complete Room Packages Customized For Your Space

While purchased and installed as a complete, fully integrated room package, the Fujifilm FDR Visionary DR Overhead System is not a one-size-fits-all setup. The room is configured based on your specific physical footprint and clinical needs, allowing you to select the exact combination of tables, stands, and digital panels required for your department.

Versatile Power & Detector Options

    • Tailored Power Generators: Choose between high-performance 50 kW (10 to 630 mA) or high-capacity 80 kW (10 to 1000 mA) high-voltage generator configurations to match your clinical volume and imaging demands. Both options feature a tube voltage range of 40 to 150 kV and AEC with up to three Xe detector-type phototimer receivers.
    • Interchangeable DR Detectors: Fully compatible with lightweight Fujifilm FDR D-EVO II and FDR D-EVO III digital detectors, giving you flexibility in panel size, weight, and scintillation material (including CsI and GOS options).
    • FDR D-EVO Advanced C43A Detector: Achieve outstanding image clarity with this high-tier cesium iodide (CsI) detector. This lightweight 10-pound panel features a 150-micron pixel size, an active area of 2816 x 2816 pixels, a rapid image preview of under 2 seconds, and a cycle time of less than 8 seconds.
    • Scalable Investment: Select a single-detector or multi-detector room setup that aligns with your capital budget and operational goals.

Proprietary Image Processing & Ultra-Low Dose Technology

    • Patented ISS Method Reading Technology: Unlike conventional flat panel detectors (FPD), this system utilizes an indirect conversion FPD with Fujifilm’s proprietary Irradiation Side Sampling (ISS) method. By placing the TFT sensor in front of the scintillation layer rather than behind it, the scattering and dissipation of X-ray signals are significantly reduced. This achieves sharper, high-resolution images while operating at a lower X-ray dose rate.
    • Advanced Noise Reduction Circuitry: Built-in noise reduction circuitry improves image granularity in low-density areas, elevating diagnostic detail in challenging anatomical structures.
    • Dynamic Visualization Processing: Automatically optimizes on-screen contrast and density to ensure consistent, highly detailed diagnostic displays for immediate clinical review.
    • Flexible Noise Control (FNC): Automatically extracts and excludes image noise components without sacrificing sharpness, reducing graininess across all imaging views.

Automated Positioning & Clinical Workflow Efficiency

Motorized Ceiling Suspension & Precise Auto-Tracking

The Fujifilm Visionary system features motorized ceiling suspension that is ergonomically designed and easy to operate, requiring minimal physical effort from your radiologic technologists. True auto-tracking automatically aligns the X-ray tube and the selected detector, reducing manual adjustments, preventing positioning errors, and accelerating exam times. This streamlined workflow improves overall productivity while providing a faster, less-stressful experience for patients and staff alike.

Advanced Ergonomic Hardware & Control Interfaces

    • Heavy-Duty Elevating Table: Featuring a spacious 31.8 x 92.5-inch tabletop, the motorized elevating radiographic table supports patients up to 650 pounds. Using the integrated foot switch and grip switch, height adjustments between 21 and 33.5 inches can be completed quickly and safely.
    • Flexible Tilting Wall Stand: The BR-120T stand features an exposure platform that tilts from -20 to 90 degrees to easily accommodate standing, seated, and wheelchair exams. A vertical travel range of 16 to 75 inches from the floor surface makes it simple to capture full lower-limb views or cervical spine studies.
    • Rotatable LCD Touch Panel: Change settings instantly in the exam room using the color touch panel mounted on the X-ray tube arm. The display can rotate a full 90 degrees to remain upright and clearly legible regardless of the tube orientation.
    • Radiation Field Linking Function: Pre-selected radiation field sizes automatically adjust and align to the upper or lower portion of the detector, eliminating manual collimator adjustments.
    • Sound & Light Notifications: A customizable system on the tube suspension frame and hand switch alerts staff with distinct sounds and seven selectable color lights when the system is “Ready” or when an “X-ray is in progress.”

Advanced Clinical Applications & Diagnostic Imaging

High-Resolution Radiography For Diverse Settings

The automated capabilities and modular components of this room make it ideal for a variety of demanding clinical environments, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging across different patient populations.

    • Hospitals & Emergency Departments: Rapid auto-positioning and highly durable components support high-volume, high-acuity chest, abdominal, and trauma imaging.
    • Orthopedics & Sports Medicine: Seamless tracking and stitching capabilities facilitate highly accurate imaging for spine and leg measurements.
    • Diagnostic Centers: Outstanding low-dose imaging technology helps protect patients while delivering the high contrast and detail required for complex diagnostic evaluations.

Specialized Imaging Tools

To assist with advanced clinical assessments, the system can be configured with optional, high-tier applications that allow technologists to focus entirely on patient comfort and safety:

    • Tomosynthesis: Acquires up to 60 images in a single linear sweep to reconstruct thin, cross-sectional depth slices. The system automatically calculates optimal exposure conditions using a single preliminary pre-shot and suppresses metal artifacts to produce high-precision images down to 150 microns.
    • Energy Subtraction: Takes two exposures at different energy levels in rapid succession, automatically changing the dose rate between shots. This technique utilizes different X-ray absorption properties to separate bone and soft tissue structures. Advanced multi-resolution alignment processing is used to suppress motion artifacts between exposures.
    • Long View Imaging: Automatically captures and stitches multiple adjacent views in a single sweep to produce full-length orthopedic views. The system supports full-length upright views of up to 63 inches and recumbent views of up to 47 inches. Built-in motion-correction alignment software automatically corrects minor patient movements between exposures.
