Motorized table height, tabletop travel, detector travel, tube angulation, and variable source-image distance provide extensive anatomical coverage. The detector support travels 53.1 in (135 cm), and the system covers the full tabletop together with its lateral and longitudinal movements.

Flat Tabletop Supports Transfer and Bariatric Positioning

The 88.5 x 31.9 in (225 x 81 cm) carbon-fiber tabletop provides a wide positioning surface with integrated patient rails. How Does the AMRAD Aptitude R/F Workflow Operate?

Protocol-Driven Auto-Positioning

The technologist selects a programmed protocol at the acquisition console. The selected table and generator parameters are transmitted to the table console, where the MOVE command automatically positions the tabletop, column angulation, source-image distance, collimation, filtration, and lateral or longitudinal travel. A readiness message appears when the programmed position is reached.

Centralized Main Console Controls

The main console combines capacitive keys, joysticks, and a touchscreen for table movement, generator settings, protocol selection, auto-positioning, patient-camera images, preparation, and exposure. An infrared remote provides access to major system functions, and an optional secondary mobile console can mirror most main-table controls.

Patient Camera Supports Positioning Without Fluoroscopy

A video camera allows the technologist to view patient positioning at the main console before irradiation. This supports alignment while automatic collimation and programmable filtration apply protocol-based settings for the selected anatomy and imaging mode.

Integrated Image Review & Network Distribution

The acquisition console supports image review, windowing, magnification, measurements, annotations, rotation, image reversal, and multi-image display. DICOM 3.0 functions include Store, Worklist, Print, and MPPS, with additional connectivity functions available as options.

 

AMRAD Aptitude Imaging, Positioning & Dose Technologies

TRIXELL 4343 Dynamic Flat Panel Detector

The integrated amorphous-silicon detector uses a cesium iodide scintillator and provides a 16.8 x 16.8 in (42.6 x 42.6 cm) active area. It supports digital radiography, continuous fluoroscopy, and pulsed fluoroscopy in multiple selectable field formats.

65 kW High-Frequency Generator

The standard 65 kW high-frequency generator uses inverter technology with IGBT circuits. An 80 kW generator was offered as an optional upgrade. The generator supports radiographic operation from 40 to 150 kV and fluoroscopic operation from 40 to 120 kV.

Automatic Exposure Control and DAP Tracking

A three-field ionization chamber provides automatic exposure control for selected radiographic techniques. An integrated dose-area-product measuring system records dose information for individual exposures or the complete study at the acquisition console.

Automatic Collimation and Programmable Filtration

The motorized collimator automatically adjusts to detector format, anatomical protocol, auto-positioning, and the selected fluoroscopic field. Protocol-specific filtration can be programmed, while manual shutter adjustment remains available from the console, hand switch, or collimator.

Compression and Anti-Collision Safeguards

The retractable motorized compression device can apply up to 200 N of compression. System interlocks prevent tabletop, carriage, or angulation movement when compression exceeds 60 N. Software-controlled motion limits and anti-collision functions support programmed positioning within the installed room layout.
