Konica Minolta KDR Flex Overhead X-Ray
The KDR® Flex Overhead X-Ray is the first system that can convert from manual to auto and assist mode that includes an intuitive and customizable user interface. An integrated system for all conventional radiographic applications in combination with a high-frequency generator, radiographic table, and wall bucky.
- Tube-mounted user interface and image preview
- Zero effort movement
- DDR-Ready
The reinforced design reduces instability and vibration. Electromagnetic locks ensure accurate positioning. The table includes a smooth elevation mechanism with a maximum loading capacity of 800 lbs.
KDR Flex automatically tracks the tube and moves to the detector’s center on the table or wall stand to ensure the alignment, SID and angulation. All the axes are motorized with more than 5m / 16’ of travel and 360 angles.
12" high-resolution touch screen with an integrated user interface. The tube-mounted screen allows the operator to control the system and see the images to reduce exam time. The capacitive handle in the tube head has internal sensors that release movements when touched by the operator.
Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR) Option allows you to observe movement like never before. This novel low-dose X-Ray imaging technique enables visualization of anatomy in motion.
The DDR can acquire up to 15 sequential radiographs per second and play them back as a cine loop, allowing you to observe the physiological cycle and as individual radiographic images (up to 17"x 17" in size). This advancement in digital X-Ray technology is FDA-approved and available in many of our systems. DDR is X-Ray that moves!
- Fast Exam: In less than a minute, X-Ray that Moves gives clinicians up to 20 seconds of physiological movement with a simple acquisition, performed by radiology staff without the need for physician presence
- Low Dose Radiation: With an X-Ray that Moves, radiation is lower than in an average fluoroscopy exam.
- Convenient & Versatile: The X-Ray that Moves system performs all standard X-Rays, and images are taken standing, seated or on a table.
